about

After moving to Bangkok, I was appalled at the number of beggars and homeless people I saw. As proud and ignorant members of the human race, we tend to easily ignore these people. I know I did. I could turn my head and look the other way, but the feeling still wrenched in my gut. I want to stop and give all of my money to these people. I want to look and smile at them and tell them that they are loved. I want to help them. Unfortunately, we live in a society where that just isn't okay to do.

lyrics

You can hear their cries in the wind.
You can see their face and pale skin.
Listen to them now.

You can feel the hatred in your bones.
With one word, you shout in that tone.

Listen to them now, they cry for help.
With one voice, you can know your doubt.

The sentiment will never change...
You can turn your head but it's all the same...
